"This is an unfiltered New England IPA, made with Gothenburg's finest exponents of the style, their friends at Stigbergets.

Earlier this year Jess made it over to Sweden to make a Victorian Porter at their brewery, and this is the return leg. Kernel felt if Stigbergets were out of their comfort zone with a beer style that Kernel love, then that favour should be returned.

This is made with buckets of Galaxy, Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe with a back bone of Maris Otter, oats and wheat. The result is suitably, intentionally, hazy."

It's like a boozy lucky dip where you win every time. Classic styles from some well-known brewers, the occasional curve ball or two and, every so often, something totally weird and always wonderful. I've been subscribed to the Beer No Evil subscription for a few months, and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys experiencing new beers. The tasting notes are spot on. I like that I get to try lots of different beers that I wouldn’t normally choose in a bottle shop - every beer is enjoyable and worth trying - exactly the point of the subscription.
