About the Wine:
The Gruner is based on grapes selected from three vineyards: Strasser Gaisberg, Wechselberg and Hasel, each producing grapes which are totally different in style and taste as a result of their diverse soils and microclimates. Thus, the final blend “reflects the whole village of Strass in all its complexity and variety. It's minerally and you'll get notes of citrus, spice and herbs. It pours with a slight haze.
About the Producers:
Martin and Anna Arndorfer are an Austrian family winemaking duo from the Kamptal region, known for their innovative, low-intervention natural wines that showcase the local terroir. They took over their family estate in 2012, but started with their own selected vineyards in 2002, focusing on organic farming, native yeasts, and minimal cellar intervention to express the unique characteristics of Austrian grapes like Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. Their wines are characterized by their strong sense of personality and place, reflecting a passion for both the vineyard and the winemaking process.
