About the Producers:
Jean-Claude Lapalu is a third-generation winemaker but he didn’t have a clear idea of the wines he wanted to make, when he started his own domaine in 1996; only an idea of the wines he didn’t want to make. It took him 5 or 6 years to get rid of the additives and interventions he’d learned about at wine school and now farms his 12 hectares of beautiful, old vines, completely organically (not certified), together with his daughter Clarice.

It's like a boozy lucky dip where you win every time. Classic styles from some well-known brewers, the occasional curve ball or two and, every so often, something totally weird and always wonderful. I've been subscribed to the Beer No Evil subscription for a few months, and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys experiencing new beers. The tasting notes are spot on. I like that I get to try lots of different beers that I wouldn’t normally choose in a bottle shop - every beer is enjoyable and worth trying - exactly the point of the subscription.
